Controversial Penalty draws with Chelsea

After losing the Championship title to Manchester United in a close chase, Chelsea was back in action in Premier league. In the second week of the league, Chelsea faced Liverpool in Anfield. With the home advantage, it was believed that Liverpool will comfortably dominate the visitors. Everything happened as we thought with Torres scoring a goal in the 15th minute of the game. This was a great effort from Gerrard who created the chance for the Spanish striker. With a goal lead the first half ended. When all things were going smoothly for Liverpool fate struck in the form of a controversial penalty decision from referee. With the penalty chances, Lampard scored the equalizer for Chelsea. Though it was a close game for both the teams, it was a shame for Liverpool to lose their points in such a manner. Hope they will correct their mistakes in the upcoming matches.
