Liverpool won Chelsea 1-0

After a great game against Chelsea, Liverpool faced Portsmouth in their away game. There was a tug of war between two teams as both teams displayed wonderful skills in the game. Defenders were doing a great job for their team and there was nothing to be done by keeper Reina. Aurelia, Mascherano were very well supported from the defense as they frustrated the home side with accurate passes. The first half was a goalless half and no interesting things happened. Finally the deadlock was broken when Bouba Diop handled the ball with his hands. This was a stupidest thing for a defender. Penalty chance was given for Liverpool. Captain Gerrard came out himself and scored the winning goal for Liverpool. Liverpool added three more points to their tally in their premier League table position. Portsmouth can’t do anything in the finishing minutes of the game and Liverpool won the game 1-0.
